USA with a proper setter is dangerous. I don't think they win here, but they're going to push Italy here. But tbh the quicker USA is out the quicker we don't have to listen to their announcers. Who are terrible. Learn the names of athletes from other countries!

If this USA team had a setter that was a tiny bit consistent on their location, they would be dangerous. Egglestone and Franklin are both good outside options, Igiede looks really solid in the middle as well!

All these NCAA Men’s fan accounts desperately trying to make it look like Moni Nikolov is the best player in the world so they can continue to believe that the NCAA is even close to European Leagues. Moni is great, he will probably be a superstar for years to come. But not yet!

Amber Igiede was one of my favourite NCAA athletes to watch in recent years. Not surprised she’s transitioned to international ball well. Great defensively, will start to make more offensive impact with a good setter!

Sarah Franklin is the one on this USA roster that really stands out as a world champs bolter. S K-T is nowhere near ready for this level though. The game is way, way, way too fast for her!
