Today, focus on who you are. Focus on where you are. It's okay even if there is so much pressure to reinvent yourself. Loving who you have become and valuing the journey that brought you here today is important too.
Note to self: You are not here to just survive. You are here to experience. You are here to thrive. There is a purpose in your presence. There is a purpose you are alive. Take your time to realize this and trust where this journey takes you.
Here's the thing. There is no right way to live your life. Your journey may not look like somebody else's but isn't that how stories are supposed to be? It's a story for you tell. A story like no other. Here's to the chapters and pages of what you've been through to get here.
You've worked so hard. You've tried your best. This journey is about you taking a step forward & showing up. It's no longer about what others say about you. It's about what you want for yourself. I hope you're proud of where this courage has taken you. You deserve to go further.
I hope you know you're enough even when you make mistakes. I hope you know it's okay if it turns out to be the wrong decision. It's time to unlearn that making mistakes or making the wrong decision makes you less worthy. You are learning despite it all. Try again anyway.
Look at how you're trying. Look at how you're showing up. No one knows how much it took to get here but you're taking each step forward. Even when you still don't know where you're headed, you're bravely finding yourself anyway. Here's to your strength. Here's to your courage.
The rest is yours when you're healing and that's the hardest part. No one can teach you where to go from here. It's all up to you. What's important is learning the lessons as you move forward. It took me a while to learn but nothing ever goes away until you live the lessons.
To be honest, I hope people learn to make people feel they're not a burden because sometimes that's all we need. When we're going through something, we feel as if anything we do is a burden for others. But remember, it's what you're going through that's heavy, not your existence.
I don't know who needs to hear this today but it's okay to still be hurting when you're healing. Allow yourself to accept that some things just hurt and it will never go away. Love yourself through the anger, hurt, and pain of hoping it'll be okay again, but it isn't yet.
You know, don't mistake living with just having fun. Living is also figuring it out, healing, making mistakes, learning, crying, reflecting, listening to music, humming your fave tune in your room doing nothing, and despite it all, choosing to keep going. This is living too.
Surround yourself with people who will support you as you figure things out. And by figuring out I don't just mean when you actually figure it out, but throughout the journey leading up to it. Throughout the messy, uncomfortable, awkward, and painful figuring out.
Here's to a new week. Here's to treating ourselves more gently. Here's to learning to be more human, being clumsy, inconsistent, disorganized, & getting distracted. Healing isn't about doing things right, it's to remind you that you have time to breathe even if you mess up.
Look, there's so much bravery in letting go of what you thought was meant for you. There's so much strength in trusting in this redirection. It's ok to be afraid of what this next chapter may bring, remember you've been through worse, you'll overcome this too. Like you always do.
Say it now and say it often, "I don't have to be someone I'm not to be accepted. I can continue to be me and find the right people who sees me as me."
I want you to know that the progress you’re making now is important. It’s not gonna be easy and just because the bad days come back doesn’t mean you’re not doing any progress. You’re doing enough. You'll soon look back and see how important it is that you've never given up.
It takes courage to choose what feels right for you. It takes strength to say no to the path everyone says is good for you. It's okay to feel scared to choose. After all, there are things that makes sense only to you, not them. Own up to it, stand by it & see where it takes you.
You may feel lost right now, but this is your chance to find yourself. Find what you're alive for, find what makes you proud of yourself, give yourself time to get to know yourself more. Find the truth that you've always been enough. Once you do, you'll never lose yourself again.
I hope you allow yourself to try. To make friends, go on walks, say something first or try out a new hobby. I hope that, even when you're scared, you allow yourself to experience. To love, get hurt, or take a step forward. After all, aren't you scared of not having tried at all?
May this detour teach you that there is courage in showing up and trying again. May it remind you that it's okay to stumble and fall, make mistakes, and do it all over again. You don't always have to do things right the first time to be enough. You are enough despite it all.
The hardest part is when you try to start again. Everything's new, you're learning what to do, and you're making mistakes. This is why it's so important to honor your strength, be kind on your journey, and take things as part of your growth. After all, you're doing this for you.

learning how to be alone has been one of the most exhilarating experiences in my life. it allowed me to slow down, to stop considering others before myself, to consider myself, to get to know myself intimately, to date myself, to cry with myself, to rely on myself for support.

If you haven’t taken a break from dating to come home to yourself and establish your home frequency then focused time alone, even celibacy, is so very powerful. I’ve also always been significantly catalyzed by lovers. Both experiences are sacred.
I forgive myself for equating my worth to service. I am more than what I can offer and provide.
Rest is part of progress. Sometimes the answer is not in trying harder, but in resting more.
Appreciate your growth for learning to release things that used to stress you out. Your nervous system thanks you for remembering to breathe.
You are meant for so much more and you are attracting it right now. You are worthy and deserving of the very best.
Your abandonment issues can show up in your inability to give people space.
Take a mental break when you need to. Sometimes you just need to step back from everything so that you can gain clarity and insight.
Don’t ever try to hold onto anyone. Honor every soul’s freedom, sovereignty and agency over human attachment. And surrender to the divine plan which states that everything that is lost will be returned in a more aligned form through grace and divine orchestration.
You had to spend so much time and energy fighting for your peace. It’s beautiful to see you smiling, laughing, resting, breathing, shedding, being.
i’ve said this before, but “let me know if you need anything?” to a person going through a traumatic experience or grief is like a foreign language. they can’t really process that on top of everything they’re already holding. just show up in the best way you can.
Shift your focus from those who didn’t show up for you to the destiny helpers who did.
