The Shoubridge lab (@TheNeuro_MNI) and @LabPrudent (@MRC_MBU) show that E-SYT1 acts at the ER-mitochondrial interface, partnering SYNJ2BP. Interestingly, lipidomics analysis shows that the effects of E-SYT1 knock down are rescued equally by E-SYT1 itself or artificial tether.
