Sometimes while working on ML, I wonder if I should have focused on web dev instead. Everybody is going full stack and people keep saying that there aren't many ML roles for freshers. And then someone points out that I can't even build a basic website- that guilt hits harder.

If u are tier 3 clg student u must be agreeing to this. The faculty gives zero fucks about the learning part, all what matters is "maintain ur cgpa beta". Mine even leaked mid sem papers so that we score well. But seriously, what after thiss???
