Another presentation in the books. As much as I love the OR, the work I shared at #ADVANCE23 was more about quality improvement of communication in our hospital system, with involvement from anesthesia personnel in non-operative hospital leadership roles.

Just finished 3 nights helping out in the COVID ICU (50+ pts at our hosp) - >50% intubated - Ages almost an even split 40s/50s/60s/70s - Only a handful are actually vaccinated We have APPs and surgeon attendings functioning as residents to help out. Everyone’s exhausted.
