Interesting that at the beginning of the pandemic, there was that (inappropriate) meme or whatever going around about OBGYNs having to intubate. But a year and a half in now, the actual problem is intensivists having to deliver babies in the medical ICU.

The remains of 215 Indigenous children have been found at a former residential school in Kamloops, BC (some as young as 3 years old). The last Canadian residential school closed in 1996. It baffles me that we even debate Canada's genocide of Indigenous people.

I can't believe 26 elders died of dehydration at Downsview Long-Term Care Centre and we're debating if criminal charges are necessary. They died of neglect. They would have lived with some water. Would we debate this the same way if 26 children died of dehydration? #LTCJustice

i’ll never get over how we let 26 loved ones die of dehydration (they were denied water) in nursing homes and still let people die everyday from an opioid crisis in one of the world’s richest countries and politicians can still say hold on “we are all in this together.”
