Played ok - just shows how badly tinnion and the owners have let Struber down. Our three reserve strikers have scored one goal in a year between them. Spent zero in summer. Can’t challenge with one striker.

Looks like Norwich fans are starting to find out everything we said about Manning when he left wasn’t sour grapes. He will not change his shape, his football is often very very dull, he doesn’t have a plan B. Nice guy who got a bit lucky with us last season.

Thought we played well there. Playing a team who have spent tens of millions more than us and against another woeful refereeing performance. Down to the bare bones , no alternative striker. Can’t knock a point.

I remember Norwich fans saying Bristol city fans were just being bitter when we all said we weren’t that bothered he was leaving. He did ok with us but his football was so dull and he had one plan.

Hasnt been a bad window for City but madness the only manager we properly backed was dull Manning. Haven't given Struber any money at all and injury to Riis and season over.

I wonder if there is anything in this. Lansdowns have admitted the club has been for sale for years - definitely want to sell. Can’t see it happening personally.

Club can't pin the personal stuff on his exit then. As we all expected, its because he realised he couldn't take City any further. Be interesting to see how he succeeds at Norwich mind.

Just watched a bizarre video from a local Norwich journo saying how Manning was very adaptable and would develop players. I liked the guy but he didn’t adapt once - same sub on 60 mins every game - and preferred to name a small bench than pick any youngster.

Rob Edwards would surely be a decent successor. Maybe an upgrade? Not sure about skibula. Mousinho - not sure. Our lot will probably go back for Johnson …

Hope Manning does well at Norwich. Are they aware of how bad our away form has been this season? That he won’t give youth a chance and recruitment is questionable. Decent guy it would seem but one of my least favourite managers in terms of football.

I have very little feeling either way about Manning. Yep, he did a decent job with novices above him but we were remarkably lucky, so dull for the majority and never going to repeat this season. Recruitment was abysmal (not all him). Good luck to him - hope he signs Twine…
