Spending the last day trying to get USB Bluetooth virtualization and Linux working on a 2017 tbMBP makes me regret downgrading from a 2013 MBP last week. I’d rather go back to 1hr clean+build times than deal with this monstrosity.

Started getting multiple spam phone calls per day, so I spent today writing a “CAPTCHA” for calls. You supply a verification question and answer (eg what is my name :: Andrew) and it blocks pretty much all spammers. Free and works over cell service. Might write a blog post later.

10 hours later... apparently not explicitly setting CFBundleDisplayName (even without localization) in iOS 11 == broken Core Location.

Core Location in the watchOS 4.2 SDK is a horribly broken mess. Simulator doesn’t work and the permissions prompt always defaults to the phone (or sometimes decides to not show up at all…)

@appwatchcast I have no comparison. But it seems to me very instabil. BTW I do not believe that Apple will fix that and the other frameworks with bgr.
