Hotspot sharing Android -> Android via Cross device services on Android is so nice. I tap one little pop-up on my Internet less device and it activated my phone's hotspot and connects. I know iOS has had this for some time but MAN is it nice to have on my android tablet now!

The new iPhone being e-sim exclusive is already biting me in the butt, I upgraded via my carrier @ATT with the intention of still using my Google Pixel, but @ATT isn't letting me swap to a new eSIM on my Pixel or the old sim card. This sucks.

Reading about the 2022 Twitter breaches makes me wonder why hardware 2fa isn’t the norm for their internal systems. We’ve always known telecom is a high security risk business, its important to reduce risk and become as phish-proof as possible.

Today I was reverse engineering an app and discovered that Firefox has it's own CA that it respects over your system CA by default. It's a cool and interesting protection against MITM attacks, but annoying when you're trying to do a MITM against yourself!

I went to two major chain businesses that couldn't take credit cards due to an AT&T Fiber outage: it's wild to me that they're not building some kind of cellular modem into their POS for business continuity when the wired internet goes down.

With all of these 2fa codes and texts I get with receipts and stuff, my phone inbox is getting to be as bad as my inbox! I'd love to see a feature that sorts text messages like Gmail sorts my emails

I think part of the issue with dollar coin acceptance in the USA is the large size of the coin. We really should just replace the quarter with the $1 coin, the nickel with the .50 piece, make a new $2 piece, and get rid of all the others. And we should include taxes in prices.
