"I’m an old soul" someone told me I want to think she means I’m smarter than other 35 year olds. But I have a feeling it’s more about how I wear sweaters even when its warm or how I walk slowly or maybe she knows about my hesitancy to urinate. Either way, it’s quotable.

Life moves fast, with little time for emotions. Sadness may be processed through a single text. Or anger in a new course of action. Pride is a sly drop of an achievement in conversation. Therapy is time to wallow in emotions.

My wine opener failed, only extracted the center of the cork to the surface. Creativity is quickest when it’s needed for a vice. I used scissors, a screw, a hammer, and a powerdrill to uncork the bottle. The wine is tasty. The floating crumbs of tree bark not so much.

My yoga teacher told me she had to take a week off because she didn’t feel loved. It’s like she doesn’t know everyone absolutely adores her. So I told her. She winced. I guess it’s like feeling lonely in public.

Coined Term: Personified Idea In her recent Newsletter @simsilverstein did this, “If you want to change what you put out, you must change what you put in. [idea] Beef in a grinder makes ground beef. Want pork? Start with pork. BTW I’m a vegetarian. [alive, relatable, personal]”
