10 years ago today, I published my big post on AI. It has aged quite well if I may say so myself. Of the many 2015 predictions I cited in the post about the rate of AI progress ahead, it seems that the most bullish are the ones who had it right.

When you look at a photo of yourself as a child, who do you see? The atoms that make up your body were scattered throughout the world when that picture was taken and the atoms in the kid in that photo have since moved on. So why is that child you? What is the definition of you?

Savvy move by Max to start the wild rumpus as soon as they made him king. Hate to see what those wild things would do to a kid when bored. And I think that 'looking into their eyes' trick only works twice, three times tops.

In his #5bulletfriday, @tferriss says Wind River received an 8 min standing ovation at Cannes. Does the audience know they are being timed? Do individuals take breaks and then resume? Are people coming out and bowing like a curtain call? How do you clap for 8 min straight?

This transfer rule is really going to force college coaches to change. They're going to have to re-recruit their own players every year. So tempting for these kids to jump into the transfer portal and become center of recruiting attention again.
