Today we are happy to share our roadmap for a look into the future of Angular! Take a look at the initiatives we have in store and stay tuned because more are on the way. blog.angular.io/a-roadmap-for-…
@angular I am waiting for the strict typing for @angular/forms 🤣🤣 Currently, I am using github.com/ngneat/reactiv… for that purpose. Not sure if they are the same thing though.
@angular Looking forward native support for microfrontends in angular
@angular I hope HMR comes back one day... Such an improvement on DX present most modern frameworks.
@angular Thank you @jules_kremer and the team! 😀 Some nice items on the roadmap!
@angular That is great! Thanks for addressing all the issues that was being raised. Lots of great stuff is coming, looking forward to that.
@angular I love you guys so much for making the framework and the community stronger .
@angular I wish you can prioritize optional zone.js and NgModules higher, but it’s great to have a clear roadmap!
@angular Can you give any updates on testing in Angular and if it has any plans to switch to jest for unit testing and cypress for e2e?
@angular Thanks for sharing the roadmap! I love how Angular is ever evolving :-) Keep up the great work!
@angular What about component features with Ivy ? Improvement of Angular Elements?
@angular Aspired from spring mvc, angular component could support a new annotation for routing purpose. Just like spring controller class can be directly annotated with routing information. This make routing easier
@angular For me 2 great things when i work with ng its Typescript and RxJS they helped so much.
@angular Without Zone sounds interessting. Are there already ideas how it could work?
@angular It's great to have a roadmap, I'm looking forward to see updates on $localize in order to translate outside angular templates (still not official nor found in the docs, still rough)
@angular Why Angular is not implementing Virtual Dom like React.. Because of that virtual DOM, React is getting Popular more than Angular. I am too much Interested in Angular, So please Implement..
@angular if i change something on dom is angular applying those changes on to the virtual dom?
@angular i am not able to bind hostlistener on bootstrap events angular needs to allow listen events easily
@angular is there a dashboard like this for ivy (someone did) where you can see all that stuff with projects, tasks, milestones ? :-)
@angular So the most requested thing - typed forms and the improvement which would make Angular as fast as others - optional Zone.js, are both in the Future stage? When would that be?
