General use case models won't be the best at everything because there are trade-offs with RL. And with RL, what you care about is what you'll be good at. Big labs care about engagement and coding. @thementalapp and @MentLa we care about therapeutic benefit.

If I worked at a closed lab, one of the top evals I'd add is how much users swear at the model.
One of my favorite parts about @grok is that it is actually willing to write a paragraph. gpt5 seems to have been trained to never write more than a sentence without inserting a new bullet point.
