Africa can be a renewable energy superpower. Now is the time to bring together African countries with developed countries, financial institutions and technology companies to create a true African Renewable Energy Alliance.
@antonioguterres This is how they always talk then later we find out it is not all it seems and they start to use Africa again.

What is your idea here, create mega-solar farms and then string power lines all over for distribution? The value of solar is creating small grids where it's needed, near population centers that don't have electricity or pumped water. Drill one community well with distribution points. Supply battery powered portable inverters for use in their homes. This has to be done by either government or private sector investment. The people needing the service can't do it themselves. This won't happen because the government doesn't care and there's no stream of income for private investors!
@antonioguterres The goal must be a independent and strong African continent.
@antonioguterres there is no such thing, creepy liar.
@antonioguterres It is better to stay away from Africa forever.
@antonioguterres We are not interested. Europe can continue to be the super power. Wake up Africans, we have been deceived and manipulated for decades by these dubious politicians. Our fate is in our own hands.
@antonioguterres @mhdksafa Renewable energy is all around us.
