I liked Base, found it consumer friendly, I had friends I wanted to onboard to Ethereum but getting them to buy ETH and send it an L2 was just too many steps. Let me just send them some ETH to get started, they'll download CB wallet, they'll be up and running in minutes. But, I don't want them to see my own address, Why: > How much funds I have > How active I am > Jpegs / shitters I own > my Basename, they google it, they find my X > That I'm a crypto dev etc These were things that on a number of occasions stopped me from onboarding people to the future of finance. So @Veildotcash was born to solve this, among (many) other reasons.

@apex_ether I've had similar experiences with friends. At the same time i'm waiting for the possibility to pay a stranger in USDC/equivalent, without revealing my balances etc. Bright future ahead for Veil in my opinion, once that use case has been tackled as well
