Yet another magical method to generate fractals, Chaos Game, was introduced to me at @tiozzo_giulio's class, Dynamical Roots. With 3 given vertices, a pseudo-random starting point, and a few iterations, it generates what is known as Sierpiński triangle! apidcloud.github.io/chaos-game/

Just found out about Multibrot and Multi-Julia sets! Tried to generalise z^2 to z^n by hand, but it happens to be far from non-trivial. Luckily, we got wolfram and wikipedia 😅 Fractions end up being my personal favourites (d=1.5 and d=-1.5). apidcloud.github.io/mandelbrot-orb…

My mind is still blown with the applications of the Logistic Map, which @gedaliap introduced me to a bit ago. Reused the page from before to visualise it (apidcloud.github.io/logistic-map/). Amazingly, it's the same bifurcation behaviour that emerges in the real axis of the Mandelbrot set!

@observablehq As many of you noticed the map I used is not using the proper vote results from the 2016 U.S. presidential election. I have been mislead by the map posted by Lara Trump which shows more red than it should be. Here is an updated version of the GIF:
