When I follow up with "who's read the Scrum Guide," most of those come down. It's unusual to get even 10% remaining. When I follow _that_ up with "who's read it in the past year," all the hands come down—I might get one or two out of several hundred people. 2/3

Educating a team slows you down for a week or two. Not educating the team slows you down forever. Time spent in learning is never wasted.

Working remotely and working in isolation are completely different things. One does not require the other. IME, the isolated-individual model of working is inferior to collaborative methods in pretty much every way.

Good point about the ecosystem. That's why I prefer .NET where most of what I need is readily available in System.* namespaces

Test automation using Selenium Webdriver is difficult enough due to synchronization problems: timeouts, NoSuchElementException. If your test framework leverages Page Objects Model (e.g. using Bumblebee C# layer), it might be even harder to heal the flaky tests. Thoughts,Advice?
