Day 8 of 100: #100DaysOfCode
Back after 11 days. Had been busy with office work.
DSA:
- Revised basic sorting algorithms: bubble sort, quick sort, merge sort, selection sort and insertion sort.
- Started with Strivers A2Z DSA sheet.
#StriversSheetChallenge
Day 7 of 100: #100DaysOfCodeBack
Finally, onto non linear data structures.
DSA:
- Trees: concept and understanding.
- Binary Search Tree: concept and understanding. Code implementation.
- BFS - preorder, inorder and postorder traversal and DFS traversal code implementation
Day 6 of 100: #100DaysOfCodeBack after 4 days of gap.
3hrs of JavaScript:
- How the code is executed?
- Execution Context, call stack and phases in EC
- Internal working of JS engine - Parser, Abstract Syntax Tree (AST), JIT compilation.
Are you also not getting enough time to practice DSA everyday because of your current job work?
Being consistent has become a challenge considering the current job work and the timings. At times it becomes so hectic to manage the both.
Any tips/advice will surely help.
Day 5 of 100: #100DaysOfCode
Back after 2 days of gap as I was completely involved in office work.
DSA
- I just did Circular Queue implementation in JavaScript.
Didn’t get much time today. Still, wanted to show up and try to keep it consistent.
Day 4 of 100: #100DaysOfCode (Update of 16th July, 2023)
DSA & JavaScript
- Spent 2hrs on revising and re-practicing on things that I had studied the past week.
- Sets, Map, Queues and Stack - implementation with code
- Arrays vs Sets. Objects vs Maps. Their pros & cons.
Consistency is not about:
• Day 1 - 100%
• Day 2 - 100%
• Day 3 - 100%
• Day 4- 100%
Here's the actual truth:
• Day 1 - 80%
• Day 2 - 40%
• Day 3 - 50%
• Day 4 - 70%
"Consistency is not about giving your 100% each day but just about showing up everyday."
Day 3 of 100: #100DaysOfCode
DSA
- Spent 3hrs on revising and re-practicing on things that I had studied the past week.
- Sets, Map, Queue, Circular Queue, Stack, Linked List, Hash Map.
JavaScript
- Learnt the working of JavaScript code in the browser.
Day 2 of 100: #100DaysOfCode
DSA
- Spent 2hrs on learning Hash Tables. Implemented it in JavaScript. Created methods like set(), get() and remove() and print().
- Learnt how to use hashing and tackle collisions.
JavaScript
- Leant different types of scopes and closure.
Day 1 of 100: #100DaysOfCode
DSA
- Spent 2hrs on learning Linked List and implemented various methods like prepend(), append(), isEmpty(), getSize(), print(). All in JS.
- Also learnt different types of LL, Reverse LL, LL with a tail.
JavaScript
- Async/await and promises.
