Staff in the school where I was a headteacher did not congregate in the staff room with alcohol. Instead they went home exhausted, washed their clothes and experienced two emotions, a sense of duty and worry in case they had brought Covid home with them. How dare you!

My placement school uses Teams and we have to record our live lessons so I have the option to watch myself back and make some notes on how I can improve my practice... I absolutely hate it 😂

Anyone struggling with homeschooling should know that, despite having a PhD in Literature and having published 12 books, I only learned what a fronted adverbial was when my 8 year old's teacher said he doesn't use enough of them in his written work.

i sympathize students who enter online classes with smartphones and not laptops or ipads , its not easy to understand fully and give the fullest attention when your screen is small , their eyes must be strained with so many online classes </3

Online teaching feels twice as exhausting as normal teaching, which you think wouldn't be the case as I'm sat down and no behaviour management. I wonder if it's because you don't get that energy/buzz of a classroom? Or the frustration of not really knowing if the kids 'get it'?
