What @MTNNG is doing to her subscribers is not fair. Internet has gone from bad to the worst. I might be wrong but it feels like MTN is tracking internet speed, and reroutes you to a worse provider when it feels your speed is better. Ur internet just stops like magic

Dear Engineer, the problem you need to solve might not be flashy, it might not sound cool and won’t make you look like a genius, it might not have all the AI buzz words talking about it, but it’s there in your community, ur school, just about anywhere. Solve it!
One thing keeping engineers today from building something meaningful is because they want to build something cool, and techy, something that shows they are genius engineers. The problems you need to solve might not sound cool, but if it’s a real problem, then start solving it.

One way I got better when I started is by reinventing the wheel, yea u heard right. One time I wrote a function to work exactly like the JavaScript bind function. I’m obsessed with figuring out behind the scenes. Who’s got a bug to fix, I’m bored.
I took me about 2 years to land my very first opportunity and it was intentional, maybe sometime I will talk about it and why I was deliberate going about my software engineering journey that way. Who wants to hear my story?
One thing I always take my time to do when I build a web application is authentication and authorization. I never code a thing without sketching out all that I need to do and why I need to do it. I do it in a paper with no electronic device. How do u handle ur app security?
One of the most annoying bugs is the ones that happens at build. One time I was trying build a Next JS app, it kept showing an error about Arrays. I nearly went crazy. Guess where I saw the bug? Who can take a guess.
How come some serious bugs are only found with fresh eyes. Either by a colleague or when you step away from your PC for sometime and come back. I think there’s a way we see problems we didn’t create. What do you think?
