Almost four years ago we created @safeschoolsny because we felt like the city was not doing enough to protect our kids. We fought hard for mitigation measures. If we don’t quarantine, we are exposing children and teachers to the virus. That is a fact. This is negligent.

The framing of this article is remarkably self-congratulatory and frames disabled and high risk people as embarrassing burdens that good-hearted normals should learn to compromise with. Was that a perspective we needed more of? Is THAT the side that seems like it needs help?
