The thing that I found most valuable - and most generally underrated - from learning TDD 5 years into my career is the art of developing by making lots of small, targeted commits that each deliver an increment but leave the codebase deployable. Multiple commits per day.

If you think pair programming is inefficient, try waiting hours to get your code reviewed & having to context switch between tasks while you wait. And then switch back when you get the feedback & have to rethink your approach because you weren’t discussing it as you wrote it.

Just realised I bought a ticket from Stockholm-Gothenburg when I was heading to Stockholm! So lucky I got on a train to Stockholm that was leaving just minutes after I came to the station 😓 Worst part is that I got a return ticket as well.. probably the wrong way too!

I really love my iPad mini! Easy to read things at a comfortable distance from my face. Use it all the time for reading books, watching youtube, browsing. Then I'm also keeping my broken 4y old iphone in the pocket. So I can use my mini to make calls. Phone replacement?🤷‍♂️

Ever wondered why do we use the word "Uppercase" when talking about capital letters? This is a 19th-century typographic case, and guess what? - Small letters are stored in the -> Lowercase - Capital letters are stored in the -> Uppercase The more you learn, the less you know.

@dbwriterMN It is outside of most designers wheelhouse. Usually engineering skills are required to design a good API. But the discovery activities are the same. Spend time with customers, understand needs, solve them. I like to see API engineers pair program with customers.
