On watching the highlights from last night, I agree with the non-PK decision. Not so VAR overturning the red card. Where is the referee error there? There was a high elbow and a stamp. Did we get an official explanation there? #RCTID

The core problem here remains the same, this season and last. The Timbers can’t maintain enough possession or score enough goals to take the pressure off of a weak back line, which eventually cracks. #RCTID

Same deal as last year: No consistent threat in attack from #RCTID, which lets the other team dictate everything and apply so much pressure that eventually a shaky defense breaks — especially on set pieces. Another slow season start, at least, straight ahead.
