This is basically a huge con on Google's part where they force hotels to pay to sponsor links on their own searches. Note that The James has paid to sponsor theirs, but the Grand Hyatt hasn't, making a link to "guestreservations.com" the top result.

Hotels have to basically pay Google a protection fee so that they don't have their reservations stolen by one of many different scummy hotel booking sites. Very cool!

The whole frontend ecosystem is too complex. I feel like I'm entering my DHH phase, I want to rip it all up and just serve some HTML with styling and a tiny bit of JS
