Apparently Swift documentation doesn't export HTML except for hundreds of single page apps whose only job is to load a JSON file and then render it with a client-side Vue script. What the cuss? forums.swift.org/t/how-do-i-bui… Can someone help rescue me from this? CC @htmx_org

regular expression : finite state machine :: programming language : what? In the sense that a regular expression only allows a single dimension of nesting and therefore can grow exponentially more than the FSM it encodes. What features are programming languages blowing up?

I'm writing an HTTP server entirely in zsh. It works out of the box on macOS, just copy into /usr/local/bin! It supports serving files off of the filesystem, and running CGI scripts! github.com/awwright/zhttpd Feature requests welcome!

Apparently POSIX grep/egrep (including macOS) doesn't support any sort of backslash escapes inside a character class, is it actually impossible to list control characters inside a character class? e.g. the way most regex dialects let you do [\r\a\b\x20]
