DeVos' charter school polices are supported by the National Alliance for Public Charter Schools, which wants Maryland to loosen regulations on charter schools. DeVos can’t answer questions on charter schools because they're indefensible. They take money from public schools and funnel them into “for profit” corporations. Schools focused on profits become focused on statistics and the losers are our average/below-average performing kids.

Sitting in my living room watching events in Broward County, Florida unfold on CNN: We have to have a conversation on guns. This isn’t a partisan discussion - it’s about safety of our communities. Thoughts and prayers aren't enough anymore. I won't be afraid to act on this issue.
