PEACOCK DOESNT ALLOW FOR REPLAYS? Does anyone know how an American is supposed to watch any of the ladies after the fact 😭 #SkateAmerica2022 @peacock why would you get rid of replays for skating? How hard is it to archive a stream? I am extremely disappointed.

fandoms in general would be a better place if people remembered that there’s no official metric for being a fan…this isn’t some workplace graded performance review. being a fan should be what you make of it yourself instead of fulfilling some checklist of obligations

So grateful that I got to see him at Skate Canada 2019. He skated with such joy and freedom that weekend. The only time I ever got to see him skate in-person. I’m so glad I made that trip 💙⛸ #YuzuruHanyu (noise warning on the video!)

ok but come to think of it, yuzu essentially said that competitions have killed the art of skating dead, so he’s retiring from competing bc he wants to be able to grow as a skater 💀

ngl end of an era for figure skating. feels like yuzuru was the only one holding the line between the old era and new. so if i watch fs again, it would feel unfamiliar since i got introduced to fs because of him. i never really know a fs world w/o him.

I wish Olympics hadn’t been his last competition, I wish he could have gone out on a skate that he would never have regrets about, but I am still so eternally proud of him. He didn’t have anything left to prove to anyone.
