If you have wasted years of your life with an addiction, horrible habits, or the wrong people, the good news is if you radically change today, you can make up for the lost years. But it must be today.

Competition is largely an illusion. 95% of people don't even try to do great things. 0.1% of the people are loud, so you overestimate how many people there are. The rest get stuck worrying about competition and quitting after 2 weeks.

The thing about helping younger folks in business is that they tend to advance faster because they don’t spend nearly the amount of time trying to justify why something won’t work. They also don’t even know what “a lot” of money is - it’s all just Monopoly money to them.

You just have to want it bad enough that you’re willing to start when it’s inconvenient. And once you realize how much more inconvenient it will be than you originally planned, you just have to keep going. That’s pretty much it.
