Understand fans’ frustration but #nufc had to let Isak go imo. Keeping him given his poor attitude would’ve ruined the team and been a major distraction. The fee is decent for both parties. He’s an excellent player - albeit streaky and prone to niggles. The deal suits both clubs

Is it fair to say we are mostly annoyed at losing out on another signing (any signing) than we are at losing out on Sesko himself? Like Ekitike his stats are incredibly average 🤔 #nufc

In all of this crazy drama and this mad tug of war for Ekitike, few have mentioned that this is a striker who has a record well below 1 goal in every 2 games so far in his career. Last season was his break out and 15 goals is good but not spectacular. 100 million euros? #NUFC

Is it just me that does not care how ‘big’ a club #NUFC are? What does ‘big’ even mean in the context of a football club and why do people get so het up about it? Would Nufc being bigger make fans care more about them? The number of media hours dedicated to this argument is mad.

Ekitike won’t happen. But it’s made me re-evaluate the rumours about Wissa. I thought that was too ambitious for a second striker but seems well within our reach now. Isak and Wissa would be fantastic #nufc
