Poor rush lane run defense? I feel like we saw this all second half last year. Weird that the coordinator for both teams I saw it on is the same. Coincidence

I said on #CarsKeys that I expected the defense to be a little more of a test this week and it showed. The encouraging thing was the line showed up well over all. I will keep repeating how much of a steal Newman has been. Rough first team overall. But glimpses there

It’s not a preseason if we aren’t melting down. Line held up well overall. I’ll rewatch but the first sack it looks there was a KC DL in the lane. Thought Rome tripped on the first end zone. Missed plays and some slop? Yup. But overall you see the talent

I’m not alone, but I’ve been asking for heavier 12 use for years. The best teams use 12 and have success with it. We’ve either used it and had minimal success, or we just went all 11 with Nagy. We are seeing this change now. I can’t tell you how good this is for our offense

Burden, Monongai, Ozzy, and Hyppolite all really flashed well. All of them showed up. Super excited to see what that holds. Not a knock on Loveland. You can see that he’s gonna be a focal point. The 12 use was telling

What a really fun experience. See more of the personnel they want to use. Lots of 12. Our Lbs and DBs are loaded man.

Just first half observations 1. Can’t imagine paying Tua 2. Burden is a problem for opposing teams. He’s gonna be fun 3. Sewell. Hyppolite. What a massive first half 4. Love seeing DomRob and Booker step up 5. Our DB depth is insane
