- I started a multi 6 figure business at 20 years old from my twin size bed - Raised $50k from investors for student venture fund - Uni student full time - Worked part time at startup - partied 2-3 nights per week - had multiple girlfriends throughout AND I was still ranked Platinum I in Rainbow Six Siege (played daily). No disrespect to Myron but massive bouts of solitude and “monk-mode” delayed gratification is not always a requirement for success. I’m by no means even remotely close to being the most successful guy but lots of people seem to falsely romanticize the idea of extreme sacrifice to hit your goals. “Monk mode” and “sacrifice” have a time and place but neither are inherently virtuous or guarantee you will be successful. Most of the time, if I’m really motivated - I’ve found it doesn’t even feel like a sacrifice, just a no brainer cost/benefit that I’m willing to make all day long. It only takes what it takes.

@benjaminseda1 W take. Said a similar thing today as well. People think you can have balance which is BS. It’s excuse to have lame social life, bad health, and no friends
@benjaminseda1 Both ways work...truthfully, at the end of the day, there are no rules
Definitely worth mentioning that everyone is different. I don't play games because I find myself thinking about them too much when I'm not playing them. It's about finding a balance that works. But you're absolutely right, the work is the work. You've just got to do it.
@benjaminseda1 True but if you didn't do them things you would be 10x more successful
