Private keys are best stored in plain-text within javascript files. Makes it easier for other people to test out your account if they needed
I don't always store credit card details, but when I do, I make sure to store it in plaintext for all to see.
When committing your code and there are merge conflicts, always take local because your code is better

Remember, testing code in development is always risky. Rather test in production, you'll get immediate results.

remember to put all files into one folder, organization is for pussies, no one needs to have folder structure if you know what you are doing
remember to facebook in the mornings while all the bosses are watching, then when you are late delivering code you can blame Mark Zuckerberg
Only use one method. Ever! Having more than one method introduces complexity and makes the code more maintainable, and my job less valuable
Users love raw exception messages, it gives them a comforting feeling that they know exactly what's wrong with your code
When writing code, remember not to check for any null variables, this is not required.
