Important article about #Microsoft and their "love" for #OpenSource: ghuntley.com/fracture/ Key point: MS can easily fork open source communities by changing towards proprietary defaults ("strategically divide the market"). They did twice. They will do it again.

New #repository providing a script to mirror #Proxmox VE dumps to encrypted, external USB drives: github.com/foundata/proxm… It is a helper for cheap disaster #backup in smaller, SOHO environments (which usually don't own a dedicated backup server), using drives like WD elements.

Leute, ihr dachtet bisher #SSI ist das dümmste, was ihr mit #eID anstellen könnt. Aber ich habe gerade ein tolles Angebot des buergerservice.org entdeckt. Da steckt ihr eID rein und bekommt Hash der Personendaten raus. Die dann als @KeePass Masterpasswort verwendet werden.
