This is absolutely spot on. Even having a 50% "win" rate in trades can still be profitable, as long as you can cut losers and run winners. Running losers is where you blow the account. We've all done it.

Changing SIPP provider and moving a 90% from workplace pension to AG Bell, past few days taken the opportunity to flatten a lot of commodity uk share holdings to make the transfer easier. Want far less exposure to UK companies going forward. Looking forward to rebuild.
