When migrating from Debian 11 to Debian 12, don't forget to tweak your @borgbackup/@borgmatic calls: prune is no longer sufficient to reclaim disk space, you have to use compact as well. 1/2

Rsync is a great tool for its purposes. But, I was looking for a proper backup suite, and then I found @borgbackup (short: Borg). Borg is a fantastic backup program that satisfies all the above requirements. You can read an overview of both tools here. jstaf.github.io/posts/backups-…
