After separating our compostable waste from our plate&prep waste we diverted a whopping 2.6kg to our school compost bins. That's over 13kg a week! That's 260kg a month! THATS OVER 12.5 TONNE A YEAR!!! Don't bin it, compost it! #schoolcook #schoolkitchen #Food #wastemanagement

Planting trees with my kids today for @Stumpupfortrees. Truth is - quicker and more effective to plant them all myself, but that’s not the point is it? They will see them mature into magnificent trees. I won’t. The future is theirs.

This is what Kingswood Catering in Corby have sent out to 500 kids this week. Each kid gets their own box, even families with multiple children. Much better than the awful examples I’ve seen on Twitter this morning. (That milk and those eggs are so important for many families)
