AI detection tools will be used to reproduce racism and class inequality. When there is a false positive, Instructors will be more likely to believe the tool when the student is BIPoC and/or low income... more likely to believe the student when they are white and/or wealthy.

Speaking of not practicing. @jakkipearce got me an electric violin so I can practice while the baby is sleeping 😁 Maybe get back into regular practice.

I get a violin related newsletter and only open a few a year. The title has to interest me as I’m not actively practicing as much these days. I appreciate they occasionally send “hey we noticed you’re not reading these we will unsubscribe you unless you click here”.
