I thought bedtime w kids was this sweet time where u cuddle & read stories & then everyone goes to sleep. But it’s actually one kid screaming bc they don’t want to get off their iPad & the other rolling all over u & kicking u in the face while u try not to fall asleep before them

Today I got bit by a dog, forgot my phone at a patient’s house & had to waste an hour of my day going back to find it, & I think I witnessed a drug deal. Home health is fun.

How am I supposed to work 40 hr per week, take care of my kids, keep my house clean, spend time with my family, & have time for anything else? & I have to do this for like 40 more years?? Whose idea was this??

Being a mom is so weird because you’re overwhelmed all day trying to get things done plus take care of kids & usually counting down the hours until bedtime, but then once they fall asleep for the night you just miss them
