I feel exhausted just watching Bournemouth. They are relentless chasing every lost ball & sprints for 90 mins. Iraola is a proper coach destined for bigger jobs.

Subs will be debated in terms of impact, timings & personnel but the key thing to take away from yesterday is they were pretty much all attacking looking to win game. Marked difference to last season when options weren’t there & would have defaulted to a back 5. #nffc

Good point at Palace. Could & should have won it in end. Untidy in possession 1st half, much improved 2nd. Good to see impact from bench of new lads. McAtee very tidy & skilful in possession. Hutchinson got in really good positions & goal threat. Promising. #nffc

Interesting to see how off-field stuff affects players today. Regardless of blame it needs sorting quickly. Shame if he goes, seems to fit us well but if not happy will manifest on pitch sooner or later. New manager rumours gathering tell me will be gone after today #nffc

Spurs brilliant for 80mins. PSG couldn’t get into their stride. High energy game in heat plus lack of squad depth ultimately did for them. They’ll go well this season under Frank who is great tactically & fits the Spurs young squad model #THFC

Chance creation & goals worry for me at this point. Still time to sort with recruitment before window closes but Nuno needs to find way of releasing shackles a little to give us better options going forward. Very 0-0 game but a few good saves from Selz to keep it that way #nffc

I’m no expert on cricket but in my view Brook’s daft & unnecessary shot yesterday was turning point & let India back into it. They were flat out of ideas, body language down. Puts unnecessary pressure on lower order to deal with a rejuvenated bowling attack. Pressure builds.

Usyk is a genius. Definitely one of the best to ever box. Making light work of this heavyweight division. Far too good for Dubois who couldn’t get near him. #UsykDubois2

Slept on it. Back to positivity. No loyalty in football, if he wants to go let him. Money to spend. Lot of work to do now but confident recruitment team will get it done. Departures may force us into needed change of style. We’ll be fine. #nffc

One thing that is a little worrying is the lack of striker talent for England. Beyond Kane, we have ageing pair Watkins & Toney who are not of similar level. Behind that we have potential in Delap. We are seeing in the U21’s that there isn’t any standout atm.

Plenty of talent in this U21 side. Harvey Elliott obvious quality going forward. Anderson brilliant in midfield well supported by Scott. Quansah good bringing ball out. Hutchison real threat but just final ball/decision can let him down a little at times. Livramento quality.

Like Harvey Elliott. If available & at right price he’d be a good signing for us. Would fit right into our counter attacking style especially with Jesus running channels. Early balls from deep into channels, gets in box & decent finisher #nffc
