#iamstf My kids asked me about the sticker today, so I told them. Short and sweet. A few details. Then I listened to them talk about the importance of having a good learning environment and teachers who care. Kids are amazing, they are the future and should be treated as such.

To use the word overreach here would be comical if it wasn’t inflicting so much pain. The overreach was not in the courtroom, Mr. Premier, and your intended use of the notwithstanding clause to remove the rights of a specific group of children is an overreach we cannot forgive.

Schools need to be safe spaces for all. Teachers work hard to foster inclusive and respectful environments where every individual can comfortable to express themselves. There is no space for hate in public education.

If someone’s “argument” against they/them pronouns is you can’t use plural pronouns to describe singular people, they should really do a little research before they embarrass themselves.
