@Big_Orrin @AlekseyBu You're just writing fan fiction right now
@Big_Orrin @AlekseyBu Ha. You don't understand Alberta.
@Big_Orrin @AlekseyBu Of course you're not American. Very easy to understand. At least I've visited Alberta and gone to Ft. McMurray.
Since Trudeau is complaining about Smith not being a team player. If I'm an Albertan, I'd want a special Energy Bond issued and kept in Escrow funding $200bn of energy infrastructure priorities, every nonsense anti-energy policy dismantled by Parliament and curtailment of First Nations rights over any Energy project before I'd sanction on oil embargo.
@Big_Orrin @AlekseyBu No I said you are writing Fan Fiction b/c I doubt Ontario will accede to these demands
@Big_Orrin @AlekseyBu And how long would it take for Parliament to act upon these demands?
@Big_Orrin @AlekseyBu And how long do you think it takes? Your Schlieffen plan only works if Midwest refiners don't find a way to stockpile a bunch of heavy crude in the interim.
@Big_Orrin @AlekseyBu Import every heavy barrel you can to the Gulf Coast, store it at Cushing. BTW, $CVE may have some thoughts
@Big_Orrin @AlekseyBu Rails. It’s a technology that exists in Europe. I heard trucks exist there as well
@Big_Orrin @AlekseyBu Trucks exist too you know. How hard would it be to truck to KSU? Come on dude. You're this expert and the workarounds aren't that hard
@Big_Orrin @AlekseyBu If it was a long-term problem KSU would gladly help figure out a solution.
@Big_Orrin @AlekseyBu Extend a rail line to shorten the distance. Once we start arguing about the minutiae like this, we are talking about a long war of attrition and I'll bet every day of the week that the US has deeper pockets and more capability in figuring out. Alberta well have a huge problem.
