being a picky eater is not for the weak like first u have to deal with not liking any food and then u got ppl on ur ass telling you to grow up and eat tomatoes.
technically i’m autistic and have stomach problems so being picky isn’t really in my control but i don’t even think neurotypical people should have any heat for it. like how do other people’s diets affect you genuinely
@carolinaruins tomatoes are the devil’s creation don’t let anyone tell you otherwise
@carolinaruins likeee do they know how hard it is to go to a family function or birthday party as a kid and not being able to eat anything there and starve and then cry in the corner
@carolinaruins have u considered growing up and just eating the damn tomato??
@carolinaruins the gag of it all is that they want us to eat more broadly because they blame we are “immature” but i think it’s way more immature to genuinely get mad over what someone else eats
@carolinaruins There are people who don’t eat vegetables or drink water simply because “eww” meanwhile they have absolutely nothing going on with them other than being difficult. Kids’ TV always tells us “broccoli is gross” and unfortunately so many grown ass adults keep that mental
@carolinaruins It’s double suffering, taste buds already betraying you and then society piling on like it’s a moral flaw
@carolinaruins I’ve dealt with it all my life. It’s not easy, but I make it. It’s also why I will never judge anyone for liking or not liking a particular food
@carolinaruins Fr 😭 it’s a constant battle between your own taste buds and everyone else’s judgment.
@carolinaruins It’s tough because people think it’s a choice when it’s really not that simple.
RIGHT and like tomatoes are vile af they can’t decide if they wanna be a fruit or a vegetable, they’re sensitive as hell one second they’re firm the next they’re squishy and nasty, the only way they’re good is if they’re MURDERED into ketchup or a good marinara, I will forever be a tomato hater.
@carolinaruins Being a picky eater isn’t just a quirk, it’s a constant battle with social pressure. Society treats personal boundaries around food like childish rebellion instead of respecting taste and comfort.
@carolinaruins @musimon101 I'll punch a tomato in the face. Fuck tomatos.
@carolinaruins "Fr people think it’s just about being ‘childish’ but they don’t get the mental battle of forcing yourself to eat what your body rejects. Surviving as a picky eater = elite resilience
@carolinaruins You are a dude who thinks he’s a woman
@carolinaruins only correct way to eat tomatoes
@carolinaruins Yeah, people act like choosing what you eat is some kind of crime, as if tomatoes are going to change everything.
@carolinaruins Or anywhere you go to eat being THAT person to the waiter…
