Thanks to our partners at @OKIRCOG, we approved two grants for improved pedestrian infrastructure. One will add a sidewalk from mid-block Asmann Ave to Reading Rd and narrow the intersection. The other extends the shared-use path on Beechmont Ave from Elstun Rd to Ranchvale Dr.
Today, I advocated to include additional 3CDC Ambassadors in Downtown and OTR as part of our ongoing public safety efforts. Their presence is an incredible asset--not only helping to keep the streets clean, but also building community trust and enhancing safety through visibility

I’m excited to share that a new traffic signal has been installed at Wasson Way and Montgomery Road near Xavier! This improvement will strengthen connectivity for trail users traveling between Avondale and Evanston, while also making the intersection safer for pedestrians.
In Budget, we allocated $500K to Green Umbrella for green workforce development, supporting our Green Cincinnati goal of training 4,000 individuals for green economy jobs by 2028. These funds will be used to provide employment training in energy efficiency and sustainability.
