TIL: Economy and Ecology both come from the Greek word for Home or Household, "Oikos". Oikos-logos (Ecology) studied knowledge of our planetary home. Oikos-nomos (Economy) studied the management of the home. The divorce of the two is one of the biggest errors of modernity.
