Easiest way to spot status conscious people is to see if they listed their current job title “engineering leader” in an attempt to cover up a move down the title totem pole 😜

Finished #PunjabiParmesan and immediately wanted to go back and re-read. Loved @pallaviaiyar’s sharp observations, never read anything so bitingly insightful about Europe. My favorite chapter has to be Disunity in Diversity. My copy is marginalia-filled pro max! Must read!

Brian Cox’s memoir - lots of names dropped, very little introspection or reflection. I don’t know why people bother writing if all they want to do is relate incidents with people. What did you take away? What should we?
