firmly believe newsletters are the best way to stay up to date with an industry. find a few newsletters on a topic then commit to reading every release. after a few months you'll be up to speed on the moving pieces and will develop your own filter for what's important.

i like to think of learning as little deposits i’m making to my subconscious. sometimes you know what you should do, but you’re not capable of executing it yet. one day what you learned will surface when the time is right and its integration isn’t so forced.

i think some of ai’s backlash is because it’s sold to normies as a shortcut. the truth is quality results take effort. it requires learning, strategy, iteration. it’s easy to say ai doesn’t live up to hype when it isn’t the magic pill that’s been sold.
