I am hearing of some significant layoffs at ComicBook.com in its editorial department, including of some tenured (and talented people) there. This comes exactly 12 months after it was sold by Paramount Global to Savage Ventures (Vice).

There are lots of uncited/unsourced rumors going around in entertainment journalism right now. Play the game I play: think about who benefits from the rumor being propagated. Then, does the outlet have a history of sharing rumors that benefit this possible source?
