When we come across something that can't explain by a known procedure, we say its "like magic." But we also read books about kids going to school to learn magic procedures. So, we must know that magic has as much process as anything... right?

Thesis in a Tweet #1: Design has an unhealthy focus on scientific analysis (heat maps, A/B testing, etc), a single way of knowing among many. These other ways of knowing (epiphany, alchemy, etc.) need equal focus for design to ask new questions and approach system problems.
