On the very dry slope, a few Autumn LadyTresses have flowered 20/8/25 N. Wales. Easy to see the rosettes for next year’s flowers beside some spikes & some rosettes but no flower now

9/8/25 French Alps - The Vanilla #Orchids are widespread across Europe, where they are almost exclusively found in #alpine areas. Nigritella rhellicani is mostly found in the Alps, a darkly coloured species with crimson undertones that sometimes shine brightly in harsh light.
