Family Treasure 1) Get a blank book 2) Ask each family member over 50 to write down life advice that their descendants in 500 yrs should know 3) Keep passing it down You now have a family treasure that gets more useful over time.

@chrishlad - Don’t call someone more than twice continuously. If they don’t pick up your call, presume they have something important to attend to; - Return money that you have borrowed even before the person that borrowed you remember or ask for it. It shows your integrity and character.

@chrishlad Amazing thread! One more important life hack to add on "Learning by doing" from LPT - If you want help with something really really quickly, don't ask for help! Just start doing it in the stupidest way possible, and people will leap to their feet to come to your aid.
